Kate Eckert is a Pennsylvania native who moved to Los Angeles with her husband and two dogs in January of 2019. She migrated west to California to pursue her career in music and the arts. Kate has over 15 years of teaching experience and has worked with students of all ages. But she has come to discover that preschool aged students are her favorite age group. Kate truly loves to watch her students change and grow. Nothing makes her more proud than when a child expresses themselves through song and even dance!

Miss Kate is a passionate and fun music teacher. Her classes are a little silly but always engaging. Each month she introduces a new instrument that her students get to play! Shakers, tambourines and many more. And of course Miss Kate is always accompanied by her acoustic guitar for singalong's in English and in Spanish!

Kate's love of music came at an early age when she began singing with her church's youth choir, The Friendship Choir. As she matured into her teenage years, music continued to have a huge influence on her life. Kate's vocal talents took her all the way to the PMEA State Chorus competition where she was ranked one of the top performing vocalists in Pennsylvania. All before graduating high school.

In 2011, Kate received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. During her educational stay at KU, Kate was cast as the lead in many theatrical productions. To this day, her favorite role she played was Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors." Kate was nominated to compete at ACTF, the Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival for her musical and dramatic performances in 2007, 2008 and 2010.

Since moving to California, Kate has been teaching in schools across LA County. From Santa Clarita to Hollywood, Kate is available for all of your music education needs!
